Our Mission
Endurance offers provision through the journey of suffering.

We accomplish this as we:

  • Offer comfort by validating the emotional, relational and spiritual challenges encountered on the journey of suffering

  • Offer encouragement through a Biblical perspective of suffering.

  • Offer the ultimate hope found only in Jesus Christ.

MINISTRY STATEMENT OF FAITH

  • We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God. All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. 2 Timothy 3:16-17  We believe that there is one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. 2 Corinthians 13:14We believe that man was created in the image of God, but that by voluntary disobedience, fell from perfection. Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all men, because all sinned—  Romans 5:12 We believe that spiritual death, pain and suffering are a result of that fall.  To the woman he said, “I will greatly increase your pains in childbearing;  with pain you will give birth to children. Your desire will be for your husband, and he will rule over you.” To Adam he said, “Because you listened to your wife and ate from the tree about which I commanded you, ‘You must not eat of it,’ “Cursed is the ground because of you; through painful toil you will eat of it all the days of your life. It will produce thorns and thistles for you, and you will eat the plants of the field.  By the sweat of your brow you will eat your food until you return to the ground, since from it you were taken; for dust you are and to dust you will return.” Genesis 3:16-19We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His atoning death and His bodily resurrection.  In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was  with God in the beginning. John 1:1-2

You will be with child and give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his father David, and he will reign over the house of Jacob forever; his kingdom will never end.” “How will this be,” Mary asked the angel, “since I am a virgin?” The angel answered, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God.  Luke 1:31-35

Such a high priest meets our need—one who is holy, blameless, pure, set apart from sinners, exalted above the heavens. Unlike the other high priests, he does not need to offer sacrifices day after day, first for his own sins, and then for the sins of the people. He sacrificed for their sins once for all when he offered himself.  Hebrews 7:26-27

The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified.  He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. Then go quickly and tell his disciples: ‘He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him.’ Now I have told you.”  Matthew 28:5-7

We believe that it is through faith in Jesus Christ alone that man finds forgiveness for his sins and receives the gift of eternal life.

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast. Ephesians 2:8-9
